In search of fame and fortune, Donald Crowhurst enters The 1968 Sunday Times  Golden Globe Race Around the World – a competition for the first person to solo circumnavigate the world without stopping.

However, unlike the rest of the field, Crowhurst is not a highly qualified sailor. He decides to mortgage his house and business in order to build his own boat for the 30,000 mile journey. When things don’t go well at sea, he begins to lie about his position in the race… But will his huge lie catch up with him?

Dave reports on this crazy story, recorded live at The Melbourne Comedy Festival. Camera Op/Editor: Shane Dunlop. Assistant: Bianca Pradolin. Sound Tech: Jeremy Webb. Special Thanks: Karl Chandler, Evan Munro-Smith, Stupid Old Studios.
