Hoping to make the world a little better, Planet Broadcasting joins CARE Australia with the aim to support women and girls living in extreme poverty across the globe.

CARE Australia is a leading international aid organisation that works around the globe to save lives and defeat poverty through their five pillars:

  • Gender equality – empowering women and girls
  • Education – caring for a lifetime of learning
  • Health, Water & Sanitation – supporting healthy lives
  • Food Security – aiming to end hunger
  • Emergency aid – caring for families in crisis particularly for Syrian refugees

As a non-religious and non-political organisation, CARE also relies on public donations to fund their efforts in building a brighter future.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve been blown away by the community’s support in raising awareness and helping others however they can. Raising almost $40,000 for UNICEF in 2016 and over $45,000 for Movember (in March) of 2017.

The brand new campaign kicked off with this week’s episodes of Just Make the Thing, TOFOP and The Weekly Planet – Tune in for more information on why the cause is important to us, plus some extra rewards for those who donate.

If you’d like to chuck in any amount of bucks and become eligible for the exclusive Q&A’s – please check out the campaign HERE.

For more information on how your donations can contribute, head over to CARE Australia’s website – care.org.au.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and to everyone who’s donated so far!

You can ask a question on the forum to any of our podcasters when you donate and this year we will aim to answer as many as we can by sending you some bonus content. All that will be available at the end of the campaign and will be sent via a link direct to you.

Some more information on all that can also be found throughout today’s episode of The Weekly Planet. There’s also something about Avengers.

Without your support none of this would happen and Mason would have a perpetual sad face which is funny in itself but not so funny that you shouldn’t donate. If you want to.
