Great Mates Assemble! As with Wil Anderson’s appearance on Vic & Em’s Comedy Gems this week, what better time to create a list of all the Planet Broadcasting Network hosts who’ve popped over to chat Avengers, Hypotheticals and Emily’s obsession with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Hosted by Emily Tresidder and Vicky Hanlon, please enjoy this gauntlet of laid back, laugh-filled chat with members from Aunty Donna, Batch Bitch, Do Go On, DYKWIA and TOFOP. Plus one of the original PB trinity and The Weekly Planet’s gem wielding party boy himself, Nick Mason.

Editor’s note: OK listen, some of these links to gems are tenuous at best but how good are podcasts though?

SOUL GEM: Wil Anderson

Despite being a king of comedy, host of Wilosophy and part of TOFOP’s tag team with Charlie Clausen, I’m pretty sure Wil earns the label as most powerful gem purely based on the fact he’s been in the same room as The Rock. But also with countless laughs while chasing the meaning of life, Wil’s stand-up and podcasts are most definitely great for the soul, mate. One heart at a time.

In their latest episode, Vic & Em chat to comedy legend Wil Anderson about meeting your heroes, Avengers Endgame (no spoilers!!), and comedy aspirations.

Many mates already follow him but you can find all of Wil’s stuff here.

MIND GEM: Josh Earl

Host of Don’t You Know Who I Am, Josh does use the manifestation of the universe’s subconscious* in his hilarious weekly comedy quiz podcast. However, it’s not a mere mind stone he wields but the mighty and dangerous power of social me-me-media.

*Wiki description of Mind Gem. I’m not just being weird.

Vic & Em are joined by comedian and podcaster Josh Earl to chat dogs, dental work and the joys of podcasting! Vic and Josh also share stories of the grossest things they’ve ever seen on stage.

REALITY GEM: Danielle Walker

Co-host of Batch Bitch alongside Naomi Higgins, this dynamic duo selflessly suffer through reality television shows so we don’t have to. They’re currently battling through Bachelor in Paradise in their hilarious pods. However never fear, it really doesn’t matter if (like me) you haven’t seen the tv episodes as laughs are guaranteed and the rants are glorious either way. For realz.
