We’ve had 20 years since the X-Men franchise beginning in 2000 and helping kicking off the modern superhero blockbuster. And X-Men Dark Phoenix may have tanked horribly but at least it’s been a slow and agonising death of the franchise despite the high points of Logan, First Class, X2, Deadpool and Days Of Future Past. So how did this happen? We have some ideas but not all the ideas.
